Def Leppard : Songs From the Sparkle Lounge2008PowerWyrm is very familiar with this album. Mediocre Non-Prog Hard Rock good Musicianship and Production Take all the worst songs from recent albums starting with Adrenalize and put them on a single record and you get this. Songs have become shorter and shorter again, with almost none passing the 4 min mark, with the rule being plain hard rock sounding most of the time very poppish and cheezy. Add this a relative similarity in all the songs and you get... nothing. Clearly an album for core Def Leppard fans only. Comment by rushfan4 6 months ago Def Leppard : Pyromania1983rushfan4 is very familiar with this album. Magnificent Non-Prog Hard Rock! Modern, Guitar, Male-Melodic-Shouting magnificent Songwriting, Musicianship and Production I now own this on CD, but Pyromania was one of the two first proper rock albums that I ever owned on vinyl. I got this album and Quiet Riot's Metal Health as Christmas presents. Anyhow, I still really like this album all these years later. |
